Raise
awareness of endometriosis in your local community
Raising awareness in your community is
often one of the best and most effective ways of reaching
a high number of people.
Before deciding what you would like
to do, think about how much time you can give, where your skills would be best placed, and
whether you could get help from your friends or family. |
 |
Endometriosis
UK can provide posters and a range of materials to help support
your activities.
Examples of how you could reach people in
your local area:
- Display our posters/leaflets in GP surgeries or your local library
- Distribute our leaflets at your university or college
- Arrange to speak to your local school, rotary, employers etc. about endometriosis
- Ask if your employers would allow you to have an information table in your workplace
- Ask if your employer would allow posters to be put up e.g. in women's toilets.
- Have an information stand at a local supermarket
- If you are part of a union, ask if they will promote/support the issue
- Run a stand or table with Endometriosis UK leaflets at your local hospital
