Frequently asked
questions
Where can I get advice about benefits and disability?
There are different definitions of disability and endometriosis
is not automatically classified as a disability. However,
each case is judged individually. It is helpful to keep
a diary of your symptoms and pain, and how these affect day-to-day
activities and your ability to work.
A useful source of information is the Disability Rights Commission
(DRC). (www.drc-gb.org/ 08457
622 633). For local advice, your nearest Disability
Information Advice Line (DIAL) may be able to help. To
find your nearest one, please visit www.dialuk.info/findadial/index.asp.
