What training is available?

All new volunteers receive training to ensure they have the necessary skills before becoming members of the team. This usually includes a training event over 2 days at a weekend. Volunteers are also invited to attend regular training on an annual basis to further develop their skills and meet with other volunteers.  All expenses are paid for by Endometriosis UK.

The rewards of being a Helpline volunteer are very special. Knowing that you have helped a caller can be immensely satisfying. One caller said: “thank you so much for listening and giving me the chance to be heard after so many years. I feel I can cope now.”
